I started working as
a child with crayons
because I loved
them with a passion!
I had one teacher say
"she has gone as far as she can go with crayons".
I attended Chouinard Art Institute and
also Pasadena City College.
My influence came from New York
artists who stained and poured paint on
canvas. They also worked with different ideas
pertaining to collage and assemblage.
I have worked in all these mediums and
now do collage exclusively.
I use mylar, silver papers with unusual papers.
I like the shine of papers which reflect light and varience.
Using light and reflection creates another dimension.
I belong to the Collage Society and have exhibited at
the Creative Art Center in Burbank.
I started producing art on the computer
two years ago. Digital has opened up a
whole new way of thinking and exploration.
